Itinerary

Day 0: Departure from Bengaluru

    Journey to Kodachadri!

    As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head towards the Shivamogga District. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 410 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

    We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.

  • 10:00 PM - Dinner en route (self-sponsored)
  • 2:00 AM - Reach homestay near Kodachadri, rest for the night
Day 1: The Peak, the Waterfalls, and, the Glory
  • 06:00 AM - 08:30 AM: Reach Homestay, freshen up, have breakfast, and explore the campsite Note: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 405.
  • 08:30 AM – 09:30 AM: From the campsite, we will start our hike to and reach Hidlumane waterfalls (1 hour)
  • 09:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Enjoy the stunning views of the waterfall
  • 10:00 AM – 03:00 PM: Start the trek to and reach Kodachadri Peak. Have your packed lunch on the route to the top. (5 hours)
  • 03:00 PM – 04:00 PM: Enjoy the serene beauty from the top of the mountains
  • 04:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Descend to reach the homestay (2.5 hours) Or Get into the Self-Sponsored Jeep Ride to reach homestay.
  • 06:30 PM: Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served and retire for the night
Day 2: Devagange and Nagara Fort
  • 07:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Wake up, get ready, have breakfast and get into the vehicle, at the time mentioned by the guide. Visit the historical Devagange! Later visit the Nagara Fort! Finish both the locations by 12:30 pm in the afternoon.
  • 01:30 PM: Have Self-Sponsored Lunch .
  • 02:30 PM: Leave for Bengaluru

    • Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

    🏡Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!
