Itinerary

Day 0: Departure from Bengaluru

    Journey to Coorg!

    As the sun sets over Bengaluru, our adventure begins as we head towards Somwarpet, Coorg. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 270 km in a Tempo Traveler or minibus with push-back seats.

    We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.

  • 8:00 PM - RR Nagar (Gopalan Arcade Mall)
  • 8:15 PM - Banashankari Bus Stop
  • 8:30 PM - BTM Layout (Udupi Garden)
  • 8:45 PM - Silk Board Bus Stop
  • 9:00 PM - Marathahalli (Kalamandir)
  • 9:15 PM - Tin Factory (HP Petrol Pump)
  • 8:30 PM - Dinner en route (self-sponsored)
  • 3:00 AM - Reach homestay in Somwarpet, rest for the night
Day 1: Trek to Kumara Parvatha
  • 6:00 AM - Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast at homestay
  • 6:30 AM - Drive to Beedehalli trek base (30-45 minutes)
  • 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Trek through dense forests to the peak (11-13 km)
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Reach summit, enjoy panoramic views
  • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Packed lunch at the peak and rest
  • 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Descend to Beedehalli
  • 6:00 PM - Drive back to Somwarpet homestay
  • 7:00 PM - Campfire, stories, and vegetarian dinner
  • Overnight stay in homestay
Day 2: Sightseeing and Return
  • 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM - Freshen up, have breakfast, and explore campsite
  • 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM - Visit Mallalli Falls
  • 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Explore Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary
  • 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM - Relax at Honnamana Kere Lake
  • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Visit coffee plantations
  • 4:00 PM - Depart for Bengaluru (6-7 hours)
  • 7:00 PM - Self-sponsored dinner en route
  • 10:00 PM - Arrive back in Bengaluru at drop-off points
